We are excited to welcome returning students and meet new participants this year!
Extended Day Program | 2024-2025
The Extended Day After School Program at the Phelps Activity Center is designed for students at Rock Quarry Elementary School (RQE). The program is open to all students, but parents are responsible for providing transportation for their child to the Phelps Center if they do not attend RQE.
Monday-Friday: 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Pre-K students are bused to the Phelps Center each day.
K-5th grade students are walked by PARA staff to Phelps daily.
*If weather does not permit students walking, all students will be bused by grade level.
Students will be given time to complete homework assignments with assistance from staff, outdoor/playground time, and other activities such as indoor rock climbing, visits to indoor playgrounds, swimming, and more!
Fee also includes a daily snack. Parents are welcome to pack a special snack for their child to have during extended day if options provided are not desired.
Please sign up by Friday the week before your child attends ($3.00 late fee applies for signing up after that). Space is limited, so register early to save your child's spot!
If your child is registered to attend extended day but alternate plans are made to ride the bus or be picked up directly from school, please let your child's teacher know and also email the Extended Day Director at [email protected]. Fees paid to PARAkids Extended Day are non-refundable but can be credited to your PARA account and applied towards future enrollment.
-A new registration/handbook form must be completed and submitted in order for any child to attend PARA's Extended Day Program.

*A new form to be completed even if your child attended PARAkids Summer Day Camp.
